Check IUP and Mining Permits by Region
To check an IUP permit, look up the business entity name, address or permit type in the permit registry, then open a province through the map on this page. Each province carries its permit holders with entity type, permit type and registered address, and each links to that entity's page with every permit it holds: number, type, stage, commodity, area, location and validity period.
Checking mining permits starts without filling anything in: every regional summary is open. The full table for one region — every permit-holding business entity in that province — opens after a single short form.
What you can do on this page
- Check mining permits: browse the holders province by province, with entity type and registered address.
- IUP permit map: each bubble is one province, and its size is the total operational permit area there — not registered offices.
- Mining in Indonesia by commodity: coal, nickel, gold, copper, bauxite, tin, manganese, quartz sand and the other critical minerals that actually appear in the permit data.
- Gold mining map of Indonesia: where the gold permit areas are and who holds them, by province and by regency.
- MODI and MOMI (ESDM): where the official permit data lives, and how it differs from this page — see the note below.
About the Indonesia Mining Map
This page shows OPERATIONAL permit areas, not registered offices. Each bubble is one province: its size is the total permitted area in that province, and its colour is the province's leading commodity.
The figures come from the official government registry (Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources): 8.285 permits held by 7.542 business entities, covering 63 commodities across 36 provinces. The address column shows each entity's registered address exactly as the registry records it.
How to use it: click a bubble to read the province summary — number of commodities, permits, business entities and hectares. Detail opens the regional data: every permit holder with its entity type, permit type and address, each linking to that entity's page on Teramine.
The map and the regional summaries are open to everyone. The full regional table and the commodity by region pages ask for a short one-time form, which is not asked again on later visits.

36 provinces appear in the permit data. 35 of them clear the data threshold (at least 1.000 hectares and 5 business entities) and therefore have their own regional page; no page is built for a region whose data is too thin. Below the threshold: Bali. Permits there are mostly transport and sales permits (IPP), which carry no mining area — so there is no area to show.

For Investors, Analysts and Buyers
The path region to commodity to business entity to project to market signal connects permit data with Teramine's news, projects and marketplace. This page is not a stock recommendation and carries no investment advice.
Where the Data Comes From
The Indonesian mining permit registry is published by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources; MOMI (Modul Online Mining Indonesia) is the permitting system used before them. If you are looking for a the government registry map of Indonesia, or for MODI/MOMI ESDM, the authoritative source is that government system.
Teramine is not an official government platform, is not part of the government, and is not endorsed by it. The map on this page is assembled from the same permit data published by the official government registry and presented region by region as a map, commodity summaries and a holder table, so it can be read easily. For documents, permit numbers and official status, always go back to the government registry.
A Data Network, Not a Pile of Pages
Each region links to its commodities, the entities holding permits there, the permit types involved and related coverage. One entity appears on many pages contextually, all derived from the same single database — so nothing is counted twice.
Teramine is not an official government platform, is not part of the government, and is not endorsed by the government. The government registry is used as the official reference; other Teramine data such as news, company profiles and marketplace listings is presented separately and does not alter the registry record.
